ROLE / ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

KAWASAKI is for everyone symbol of strength, technology and power. They have chosen Arc Worldwide to rethink their digital identity and design their new EMEA website.

Our task was to consolidate their online presence by designing and developing a new responsive platform, localised across every single european market. We designed the new brand guidelines and studied a customer experience consistent through the whole journey.

CONCEPTUAL PHASE

The most exciting side of riding a bike is with the act of knee dragging. Therefore, it can easily become a symbol and the leitmotif of the website design strategy.

We have interpreted the concept in a very geometrical and essential way: diagonal lines cuts the page into sharp and precise portions, in order to express dynamism and speed. All the layouts, the animations and the pictures were studied to express the concept.

DESIGN PROCESS

As ACD I supervised the whole team: one Information Architect, one Art Director, a Digital Designer and a Content Manager. I've been involved from the first phase. I worked on concept and the strategy with the team and I designed part of the UX, the Interactions and the layouts.

 

THE SECRETS UNDER THE SKIN

Every biker loves his motorcycle, not only for the aesthetic and the beauty. I designed a tool to let the users discover all the secrets under the motorcycle fairing.
