Signal wanted to find a way to teach children how to take better care of their teeth. Little Brush, Big Brush experience is an interactive adventure that keeps kids brushing for 21 days through daily reminders, AR interactions and reward stickers — helping them form a positive habit in a playful way.
We have taken the existing fun web content of Little Brush Big Brush series and came up with an interactive game that would actually change kids' habits. We created a chatbot and 5 AR Effect masks using Spark AR for Messenger.
As one of the first Messenger extensions to use AR for learning, the experience shows there’s so much more to AR than puking rainbows.
Design Direction
I was responsible for designing and overseeing the whole project - from the game mechanic to the asset production - making sure the whole experience was simple and seamless for both the parents and kids.
I help to define the chatbot's user journey and the core mechanic of the AR game, I then defined the Art Direction - helping translate the characters into the AR environment - and led the design of the entire production from the web platform to the chatbot assets to the final AR game.
I led a team of 2 designers, 2 developers, and a sound designer to bring the whole experience to life.
